Dark Gods Rising is a First Person Fantasy RPG where you take control of a chosen party of Heroes & race against an ancient enemy to prevent 'The Grand Resurrection', a necromantic event that will revive all the ancient Deities of Mortuus Deos, allowing them to rule the mortal world once more.

In Dark Gods Rising you, the player, will be given a handful of Heroes to choose from:

  • Kendis Breen: The Human fighter with a Lycanthrope Curse.

  • Distant Blade: The Tabaxi rogue whose curiosity has lead him across the world

  • Induven Mistwing: The Owlin wizard who has travelled the globe in search of arcane knowledge to add to his collection.

  • Tomvat: The Verdan ranger who goes where ever the wind may take him.

  • Knox Semper: The Goliath fighter/wizard who has woken from a slumber that began many era's ago.

  • Trugik: The Bugbear monk who travels in search of a 'worthy opponent'.

  • Dileria: The Tiefling Paladin who has been sent on her first mission.

Racing against you is the father of all monsters that form Greek legend, Typhos. He intends to start The Grand Resurrection in order to bring back the 'order' he was once part of.

After selecting your party, you will be placed into the treacherous land of Mortuus Deos. The land is filled with deadly foes, some native & corrupted by the darkness of the land, others that have travelled here in search of something.

The greatest threat in Mortuus Deos are the Ancients, spirits of old deities that have been cursed to forever haunt the land, forbidden from passing on. Each Ancient has a different way of 'hunting' & 'slaying' your party members, all based on what kind of god they are, or rather, were.

Beware the Ancients, for if in the right circumstances they can be temporarily resurrected. When an Ancient is resurrected, they will have access to their full array of Godly powers and all the strength & might that comes with them.

As you travel, you may come across the ruins of an ancient civilisation. Some of these ruins may be small, such as buildings, while others may be larger, such as temples & cities.

The greatest city in all of Mortuus Deos is the its 'capitol', Tenochtitlan, a grand city with the location of 'The Grand Resurrection' at its centre, Templo Mayor.

So, do you dare to venture into Mortuus Deos, or will you travel elsewhere. The choice is yours.
